What is a We Plan You Caravan itinerary?
Our itineraries are detailed travel plans designed specifically for caravanners, motorhomers and campers travelling around Australia. They include detailed driving directions, routes, suggested stops, all accommodation options (including caravan parks, free camps, showgrounds, pub camping etc) and attractions.
Who are our itineraries designed for?
Our itineraries are suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers and tent campers exploring Australia. They are also useful for car travel in general, as many of the accommodation options given also have cabins or rooms for travellers.
How detailed are our itineraries?
In a word - very! Each itinerary provides daily or staged travel guidance, distances, suggested stops, points of interest and recommendations for things to see and do. They also advise when you require permits, provide a packing list, give tips on health travel, truck awareness and other relevant factors. The itineraries typically are more than one page per day and can be over 60 pages per itinerary.
Can you customise my itinerary?
Absolutely. We have in-depth understanding of all potential route options, larger caravans, family versus couple travel and can customise an itinerary to suit any needs.
Are your itineraries pet-friendly?
Yes. We provide information on pet-friendly accommodation.
Are your itineraries done using AI?
No. All our off-the-shelf itineraries are planned, driven and experienced by us. We do not simply use AI and Google Maps as many influencers do. You can be confident our off-the-shelf itineraries are recently fully tested.

Our Destination Activity Books help children learn about and engage with the places they are visiting through puzzles, activities, experiments, games and eductional content.
What age group are the activity books suitable for?
Most activities are designed for primary school aged children, although younger and older children may also enjoy them.
Home Schooling
Our Destination Activity Books can assist you with home schooling as they contain education content.
Are the activity books digital or printed?
They are delivered digitally and can be printed as many times as required for your family.

How do I receive my itinerary or activity book?
All our products are delivered digitally, making it easy to access on your phone, tablet or computer. If you would like to test the process, utilise our Free Samples menu.
How quickly will I receive my itinerary or activity book?
"Off-the-shelf" itineraries and activity books are delivered immediately. We will send you an email containing a link to download. If you would like a customised itinerary or activity book, we can give you a date for delivery along with a quote.
Can I print my itinerary or activity book?
Yes. Many customers choose to print their itineraries and activity books for use on the road.
Can I contact you before purchasing?
Absolutely! We're happy to discuss your travel plans and help you choose the most suitable itinerary or service.
Travel Planning
Do you make bookings for me?
We provide recommendations and planning assistance, including contact information (web pages, phone numbers, addresses). Any booking arrangements should be done directly with the provider.
Do your itineraries include free camps?
Where available, we include free camps, low-cost camps and donation camps.
Can you help plan a lap around Australia?
Yes. We can assist with everything from a short holiday to an extended lap of Australia.
Do you include road conditions and towing considerations?
Where relevant, we provide information about route suitability and important travel considerations for caravanners.

How much caravanning experience do we have?
We have over 30 years of caravanning experience travelling throughout Australia. First as a child caravanning with family, then as a young couple, a family with our own children, and now as digital nomads!
How many kilometres should I tow a caravan in a day?
There are a lot of different answers to this question depending on your equipment, level of experience towing, your family situation, and the location you are travelling from/to. Our itineraries give a daily guideline, but it is ultimately up to what works for you and your family.
